Sneak Peek

Finally, after 16 weeks our nursery furniture has come in! Heath went all the way to Richmond to pick it up on Saturday (not surprisingly he got a round of golf in with his buddy, Kamal, while he was there) OF COURSE I made him put it together right when he got home and then rearrange it, and rearrange it, and rearrange it until we got it exactly where we wanted it. Ironically, the mobile was the hardest part to put together!

Since Saturday, Heath and I have been working on doing some of the additional decorating including hanging the valence, making the crib skirt, putting up pictures frames and wall art, trying to figure out where Baby's E's clothes will go (after washing them) and where to put the diapers for easy access. But . . . since it's not quite ready for the big reveal yet we figured we'd just give you a sneak peak at the combo changing table/dresser!

I definitely have felt an overwhelming since to "nest" the last few weeks (which includes washing the curtains and cleaning the baseboards which I'm not sure I've done since we moved in) so stayed tuned for more SOON because I'm sure Heath would tell you- every day he's got at least a half a dozen things on his to-do list.
