Chick Magnet

Asher, I believe, has definitely inherited his mama's hair. Thick and lots of it!! He's had multiple haircuts to this point and so far his daddy has done all of them. As he has gotten older each hair cut has gotten a little harder. Asher certainly doesn't like the noise or someone messing with his head. This time both he was definitely in tears and his mama was close! But he certainly looks sharp now. A "chick magnet" as his Papaw would say.

His Daddy's Son

Asher, just like his Dad, loves ketchup. Apparently it is a finger food and a liquid. You can use your fingers to get it out of the container or just pour it in to your mouth. It does leave a bit of a mess but who cares about that!

We did learn that Asher does know how to clean up a mess, though. Apparently daycare has slightly higher expectations for him than we do! Now, if you give him a napkin after a meal he'll use it to wipe off his hands! Of course he still needs a little help but he's getting there.

Ride Baby Ride

Asher recieved a bike this Christmas from his Nana and Grandpa Ewing. He loved to push the bike and spin the wheels intitially but was a little apprehensive about actually riding it. Now . . he's a riding fool! Asher loves to hop on his bike and take it for a spin around the basement, the yard or even the living room.

"Snooooow"

It's been a very mild winter this year and so we've been able to lots of stolen days outside on the playground. Actually this past Saturday we were in sweatshirts at the playground in our neighborhood. But then . . . Sunday we had 5-6 inches of snow! Asher got to go out and play in it twice. His favorite things were watching Peyton play in the snow and making snowballs with Daddy. He even enjoyed making his own snow angel! Of course Asher was also excited that his "snow" is so easy to say since it's so close to his favorite word, "no!"

Jumpin' Bean

Asher is now my little jumping bean! He discovered this new skill last week and just laughs when he hops about. I wasn't able to actually capture a picture with both feet off the ground (jumping two-year-olds move pretty quick) but you get the idea!
